History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Valanthe was born the youngest of three triplets. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature ceremonial dagger.
