History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Roger grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Roger. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: Alain hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her poetry career. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: Alain hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, orcs burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying north to reunite her family. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it.

Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: She hates drow. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by drow. Marastyr was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the drow.

Motivation: Revenge; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and nothing but the best is good enough for him
