History: Balifra lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She now mingles about in high society.

Description: A middle-aged man, he typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep green leather and dull brown iron scale mail, and is pretty ugly. His silver hair is unkempt and raggedy. This black eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Meriele was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Meriele's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Butcher for the past few years.
