Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a tight fitting pastel shirt and pants. His fur is cut close to his head. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He moved out west to avoid the crime he committed. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Description: She dresses well, wearing blue shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. Her hair, while still mostly blonde, has prominent grey streaks. Her violet eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.
History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying north to reunite her family. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.
Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it; and a deep hatred of dire rats

Description: This tall, slender man wears professional attire. He keeps his long white hair kept up in a rat tail. His green eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.
Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Einkil liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He bought a kukri and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.
History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her father's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered dire rats who tried to eat her hand. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is greedy
