When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: She is a Baker first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Baker but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. A gifted student she started as a Cook, but she got bored and became a Baker. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
