History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Mortician arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Miller. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Banker. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Description: This slender man stands about 3'3". He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright tan and grey, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Cockaby was born on a far eastern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Fortune-teller. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. With bright black hair and a scraggly beard. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines amber.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Oppleby lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Scribe and was forced into it by his family; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
