History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

His clothes are grease stained in places. He has no hair. His silver eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. Mamnen was born on a far eastern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Spice Merchant. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and wants his loneliness to end

History: Art lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and to unite with his sister

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
