When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Druid in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She found a children's book about a Halfling Druid who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Torinn grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Torinn was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
