Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Marshal father left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and a deep hatred of orcs

Description: A woman with a cold, calculating air about her, she is well dressed, but even with her fine clothing she looks run-down. Her golden hair is heavily combed to the left. Her amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Quillathe grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Quillathe. Some 7 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Quillathe never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and to prove her worth to the world

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. A true patriot, Patrin would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. After a long history of fighting, Patrin and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Half-Elves.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Vanuath was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the west were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and many goblins want him driven away
