His hair is long and chestnut with streaks of white, and is pulled back with small brown clips. His beard is white, braided, and well cared for. His gray eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Jocelyn took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up lance and armor he uses now. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Meriele hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
