History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the north were limited. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He was born into a rich family. He found a children's book about a Tiefling Cleric who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and he has money and likes to spend it
