Description: A middle-aged man, he is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing pastel cape and mantle trimmed with soft white waves gently in the breeze, and is pretty ugly. His brown fur is greasy and uncared for. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines blue.

Personality: He hates drow. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Trail was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Gnomish compassion; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing dancing.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Slave Trader. She tends to her Slave Trader job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.

Description: She wears a tan coat over a blue low-cut shirt, and a wide-brimmed hat upon her head. Her white hair is thinning but still full. Her eyes are a pleasant amber.

Personality: Carlin wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Adept, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She has a crush on the local Ruler; and to share knowledge with the world
