History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Ruler work with an outfit from a few towns over. Ruler work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Euphemia was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Euphemia's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She's also a talented Assassin, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Vassago was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: She was born in the south. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Dwarves in Gunnloda's homeland. Gunnloda decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
