Description: He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty green coat over it. He is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly clubs and swords. He keeps his bronze crest in a flapper bob. His gold eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: This man loves painting and to teach people painting more than just about anything. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Quarethon was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Quarethon decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Description: She appears as an extremely gaunt Halfling, and stands approximately 2'8". She dresses well, wearing white shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time, and her gloved hand is found clutching a scythe. Her black hair is still thick. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Philomena embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: She is an attractive woman, lean and moderately muscular. She wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. Her hair is short and auburn. Her amber eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Description: She has a missing right arm. She wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates her frame. Her white fur is slicked back into a classic pompadour. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Tricking was born with her father's beautiful face. In her 16th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She was granted arcane powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and she's looking for her big break
