History: Born in the south to a Spice Merchant, Hillanot learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. A freak accident while working with her Barkeep mother left her crippled. She tends to her Spice Merchant job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Gifted from a young age, Alston studied abroad. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Guard work with an outfit from a few towns over. Guard work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
