Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears a brown costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on his torso. His small hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: Thorin is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Thorin was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has achieved small success as a Baker.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and further expansion of business

Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. With bright chestnut hair and a scraggly beard. His eyes are likewise brown. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: He wears long strands of opal and short tan dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths, and he perpetually has his club ready. He keeps his long blonde hair kept up in a rat tail. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Anverth embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Anverth fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he feels threatened by others

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking southern young adult. He wears a yellow shirt with thin tan vertical stripes and green pants. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His long golden hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His gray eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
