History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: Lavinia was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Druid, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Druid in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Dwarven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Dwarven doctor. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature hand crossbow.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

She wears a simple pastel robe with green stripes complete with hood. Her black fur is drawn into a tight pony tail with a skull scrunchie. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: Elegant wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Adept, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, orcs burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying north to reunite her family. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
