Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Ortegar isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He found a children's book about a Halfling Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. Wymar is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and to pay off his debts

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Ombul's homeland. Ombul decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He bought a club and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
