Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Bellfounder arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: Born to a Tailor, his father struggled to pay the bills. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gale fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She acts crazy and hedonistic. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Beast and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and her religion dominates her actions

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He wears a worn and beaten armor. His white hair is greasy and uncared for. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Simon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
