Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Description: She wears a tan vest and prefers blue and white shirts. Her boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. She is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly axes and hand crossbows. She has wavy blonde hair. Her blue eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. Her first spouse was a Bounty Hunter, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. After months of barely getting by, Nyx managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal.

Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He prefers to wear blue pants and tee shirts. He has no hair. He has a dull look in his violet eyes.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and many dire rats want him driven away

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears tan painted combat armor at almost all times. His auburn hair is singed and shortened. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Map Maker they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Miller, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and regain custody of his daughter
