Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Ildrex was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sai.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears an entirely grey suit with yellow socks and a vest with buckled shoes. He is bald on top and has large golden tufts of hair around his ears. His eyes are likewise brown. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. The war was a terrible time for him, and Alberich does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To be a Doctor again; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Performer business.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. She worked as a nervous Performer and found it very stressful. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Expand her business; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg
