History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Motivation: She would like to get married and retire; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with poetry. She constantly tries to fill her life with poetry. The war was a terrible time for her, and Euphemia does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Guard arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Carpenter. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
