Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Shifting took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up shortbow and armor he uses now. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. The war was a terrible time for him, and Varis does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Varis was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
