Description: Dark and lean, she is a relatively plain woman. She likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. Her tied-back hair is brown. Her hazel eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.
History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Layabout hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She became a Layabout soon after.
Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and she is unsatisfied with her job

Description: A woman with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. She prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for her hunting needs. She has shaved her head bald. She has hazel eyes and a brown hat with a grey feather.
Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.
History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. When Barbena reached her early adolescence her Dwarf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: She is greedy; and she has money and likes to spend it

Description: He prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. He has wavy brown fur. His eyes are hazel and beady.
Personality: He hates orcs. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: Many orcs want him driven away.

Description: He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep green leather and dull black iron scale mail. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. His dark red hair, when down, is lengthy. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Bookbinder business.
History: Barakas was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Barakas grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Barakas. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
Motivation: He is content; and to find somewhere to settle down
