Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Roywyn embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. In her 19th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Description: With violet face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his whip with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His long yellow fur is drawn into a two foot long braid. He has gleaming, smiling hazel eyes.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Born in the north to a Gardener, Shadow learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Bowyer, but he got bored and became a Gardener. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Motivation: To be a Bowyer again; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His auburn hair and beard is wavy and long. His eyes are a pleasant hazel.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Morkral lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and regain custody of his daughter

Description: This younger middle-aged woman tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look, and a wedding ring on her left hand. She wears a wide-brimmed hat to cover her moderate length black hair. Her face is scarred and worn.

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She's also a talented Bricklayer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She is greedy.
