Description: She typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep tan leather and dull black iron scale mail. She cuts an attractive figure and her suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. Her silver hair is still thick. She wears a mask on her face.
Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.
History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to prove her worth to the world

Description: She is wearing a long, yellow cloak. She is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly greatswords and daggers. Her golden hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a top hat. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.
History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Mary was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. As a very small child her family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. Her mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect her and cast a teleportation spell that whisked her away. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the south; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

Description: A 3'6" southern woman, she is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. Her hair is golden, silky, and of moderate length. Her hazel eyes peer out from beneath her top tan hat.
Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.
History: She got into the Assassin business at a young age. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.
Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and sabotage a competitor
