History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the east. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cartwright. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Ellyjoybell has worked very hard to control her curse. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
