History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
