History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her father's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered gnolls who tried to eat her hand. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: This woman is very fat, and wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized white coat. She has shaved her head bald. She wears an eyepatch.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. Ownka is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Baker and was forced into it by her family; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Description: She wears a green vest and prefers white and violet shirts. Her boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 5'0" when asserting herself. Her red hair is braided into rings. Her face is scarred and worn.

Personality: She hates gnolls. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her father worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled father and took her father's old job. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and many gnolls want her driven away

History: She comes from a rich northern family. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and further expansion of business
