History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the divine powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. She struck the Unemployed job and began her own company from there.

Description: A moderately attractive woman, she is typically in her Miner uniform. Her hair, while still mostly purple, has prominent grey streaks. Her half smiles and silver eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Miner. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and she is greedy

Description: This woman is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. She prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. She carries her fan with her everywhere and carries herself as the perfect lady. She has styled her rusty crest well, parting it to the left. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 5. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and money/treasure

Description: This tall, slender woman wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with wide-brimmed hat. Her head has been shaved. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines hazel.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Matilda was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and to find somewhere to settle down
