History: Shadow hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Tabaxi conditions. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: Born to a Bookbinder, her father struggled to pay the bills. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Guard born in the past three hundred years. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has achieved small success as a Guard.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and expand her business
