Description: This dark-skinned male very much looks the part of a Navigator. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. He has shaved his head bald. His eyes are violet and catlike.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Navigator but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ortegar grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ortegar. He has achieved small success as a Navigator.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Description: This fat eastern woman has a bulbous nose and wears an entirely grey suit with black socks and a vest with buckled shoes. Her skin is also unnaturally pale. Her golden hair is heavily combed to the left. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: A middle-aged woman, she has the majority of her body covered in plate, and is pretty ugly. With wild silver hair. She has a tattooed face.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. Leshanna enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out
