History: Farideh was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
