Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears tattered old clothes. He has moderate length blonde hair. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Duergath embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Description: Dark and lean, she is a relatively plain woman. She wears many layers of old clothing at all times. She has dyed her greying red crest a little too much giving a sharp red color. Her gold eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

Description: This tall, slender man wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his longsword with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His chestnut hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His fierce green eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes goblins are coming to abduct people. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and to reunite with his absent mother

Description: An older woman who wears brown leather gloves, a brown jacket, and tight pants, she is not a threatening figure. Her fur is cinnamon and curly. Her eyes are green and catlike.

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Courier. She struck the Courier job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and sabotage a competitor
