He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: She got into the Interpreter business at a young age. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and she is wracked by social anxiety

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He keeps his red hair in a flapper bob. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. After a long history of fighting, Oppleby and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and retire the richest man in the east
