History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Aura was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Her red hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady gray eyes.

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ownka fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Thoradin lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.
