History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the south. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Halander was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Description: Dark and lean, she is a relatively plain woman. She is dressed in earthy colors with a violet and grey handkerchief worn on her left side. Her golden hair is well kept. Her gray eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Glassblower. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Glassblower.

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he wears a grey coat over a brown low-cut shirt, and a deerstalker hat upon his head. With a patchy red beard and wild red hair. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He struck the Detective job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and balancing his hectic life and new detective responsibilities is difficult
