History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. Akoth is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Spy they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Scribe, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Fisher born in the past three hundred years. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: Leaf was born with her father's beautiful face. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered poetry. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
