When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Half-Elven artifacts is his passion.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.
