Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Dara's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: Dara lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother.

Personality: This woman loves singing and to teach people singing more than just about anything. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Sun and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Through the years after Nim was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Nim's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents enrolled him in a Paladin school at a young age so that he could practice his necromantic talents. He struck the Servant job and began his own company from there.
