Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: The child of a Miner, who enjoyed hunting, Vola was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Miner. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with poetry. She constantly tries to fill her life with poetry. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing poetry.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has never given up on her poetry dream.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and expand her business

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
