History: Ûkbûk was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has never given up on her music dream.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Pennie's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She disdains her fellow westerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and money/treasure

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Valida embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. She takes great joy in being the best Detective in town.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She has taken up work as a Detective and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.
