As a very small child her family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. Her mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect her and cast a teleportation spell that whisked her away. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He worked as a nervous Mercenary and found it very stressful. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
