Description: This woman is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing pastel cape and mantle trimmed with soft grey waves gently in the breeze. She is muscular with a powerful set of arms. Her fur is orange, silky, and of moderate length. Her copper eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Shadow lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Halflings. His skin is light but he possesses many black ritualistic tattoos. He wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. His brown hair is lengthy. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Knight they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Engraver, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and to reunite with his absent mother

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Elven conditions. He has never given up on his dancing dream.
