History: Ermina hails from a village terrorized by drow. Her parents were killed by drow in a raid when she was still a young child. The drow captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: Many drow want her driven away.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sage. He has worked as a Sage like his father before him.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She disdains her fellow southerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She feeds upon the attention of others.

History: Phelaia was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Warrior, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Warrior in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.
