History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Being a Scribe kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Description: She dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over her head, and carries ceremonial daggers. Her white hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a broad hat. Her green eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She is ready at a moment's notice to give into her darker urges. She is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. She often ends up burning people alive in the fires she starts.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Herleva was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Herleva decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Herleva fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
