History: Emmeline lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tieflings in Cairn's homeland. Cairn decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Cairn fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
