Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She is a great chef.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Akta was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A freak accident while working with her Map Maker mother left her crippled. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: To settle down with her crush; and she has a crush on the local ploughman
