History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Melissa grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Melissa. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gifted student he started as a Carter, but he got bored and became a Interpreter. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he is unsatisfied with his job
