History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. Through the years after Rurik was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Rurik's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She bought a axe and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting goblins, the young Korfel began to lead the lost caravan. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
